Ten adults work at Pecan Grove: a director, a lead teacher and an assistant in each room, a teacher who leads the summer weeks, an administrator, and a yard and kitchen helper.
Madeleine Barron
Lead teacher, threes room
Madeleine sets up the threes room each morning with open-ended things to build with and pretend with, then plays alongside the children and follows their lead.
Anoop Chacko
Summer program lead
Anoop plans the six summer weeks and floats between the rooms during the school year. He keeps a box of puppets, a water table and a lot of clay.
