How tuition works

What sets tuition

Tuition depends on your child's room and age, on the schedule you pick (a half day, three mornings or the school day) and on whether your child comes in the school year or the summer weeks. We go through the figures with you on the tour.

Registration

A registration fee covers the enrollment file and the first set of art supplies. It is due when you accept a place, and we tell you what it is on the tour.

Holding a place

A place is held once we have your enrollment form and a deposit, and the deposit goes toward your first month. When a room is full, families join a waitlist for that room and schedule, and we offer places in the order families joined. Summer weeks fill by the week and have their own waitlist.

Billing

School-year tuition is billed monthly and paid by autopay. Summer weeks are billed by the week, when you enroll in them. If another arrangement would help your family, tell us on the tour.

Help with tuition

Ask us whether Georgia's child care assistance works with our tuition. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, and we would rather you ask before you apply.

More than one child

If a second child will join, tell us on the tour and we will explain how it works for your family.

Withdrawing

We ask for a month's written notice before a child leaves the school year, so we can offer the place to a family on the waitlist. For a summer week, tell us ahead if it won't work and we will offer the spot to the next family.

Supplies and other costs

Outside tuition there are two other costs: supplies for the year, and the outings and visitors of the summer weeks. Each is named in the enrollment agreement with what it covers.
